Facility and Location
St. Thomas School is conveniently located in historic downtown Bedford at 129 W. Penn Street. The clean, well-maintained facility has been in use as a school for almost fifty years.


Student Body
Students at St.Thomas School are mainly from Christian homes-both Catholic and non-Catholic. Our students come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds.


Accreditation & Memberships
St. Thomas is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Elementary Schools.


Leadership & Governance
St. Thomas School is a parochial school supported by the parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish and the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. The school is administered by a certified principal and the pastor of the parish. An Advisory Board comprised of experienced educators and members of the local community functions as the key decision-making body.


Curriculum
St. Thomas School adheres to the course of study suggested by the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown . This curriculum is based on state and national standards and is approved by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Elementary Schools. In addition to the core curriculum, all students have classes in computer, art, physical education, and music.
