I attended St. Thomas Elementary School from 1st to 4th grade, and it is my affirmation that the personal attention and quality learning environment I experienced have molded me into the person I am today. As one of eight kids in a classroom, my teachers were able to take the time to make sure that every student understood the material. The education I received from St. Thomas at such a young age was crucial to my development, giving me a clear advantage once I integrated into public school. When I finally did start at Chestnut Ridge, I could immediately tell that I had a advantage solely because of my background.
